Enrichment

We offer programming to allow every student to pursue their interests in activities beyond the traditional classroom setting.

Integrated Fine Arts

Our Integrated Fine Arts curriculum is offered to Lower and Upper Elementary children, as well as children participating in our Kindergarten program. This program offers a comprehensive study of various artists, giving the children an understanding of the different styles and time periods, while also getting to create their own pieces. Children also delve deep into musical studies, from learning to play several instruments, to learning about important musical artists throughout history.

The studio is filled with works that the children can do that are Montessori inspired – developed to meet the children where they are at developmentally. The children follow a work plan and are instructed to do lessons in art and music elements and history.

Set up like a Montessori classroom, children work on art and music simultaneously. One child might be working on a water color painting, while another child is learning to play the ukulele. The work that the children do in The Studio is presented to families twice a year – the Winter Music Showcase in the fall semester, and the Art Show in the spring semester.

Physical Education

Elementary children participate in Physical Education two times a week. In this class, they gain an understanding of body mechanics, teamwork, and gross and fine motor skills. It introduces them to sports and movement in a fun and interactive way, engaging each child at their individual fitness levels, while also pushing them to go out of their comfort zones in a healthy way. You can find children practicing yoga, playing soccer, learning the mechanics of basketball, and even speed stacking cups!

The Physical Education program also places an emphasis on healthy lifestyle choices – nutrition, sleep, mental health, and general self care. In this program, the children are challenged to think critically about how their choices impact their health, and are taught ways to improve their overall wellbeing, as well as how to stay motivated in the lifelong journey of self-care.

Some of the clubs we have offered:

  • Robotics

Clubs cultivate a passion for a variety of interests. We are excited to offer these to our Elementary children on a first come first serve basis.

Before & After School

Before and After School children are allowed to freely choose activties for play or engage in any offered enrichment activites. This allows students the opportunities that aren’t based on the traditional work cycle.

Before care runs from 7:30 AM to 8:15 AM, and is held outside on the playground or in one of our classrooms. After care runs from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
