Elementary
What sets Montessori apart in the Elementary years — ages six to twelve years old — is the individually paced curriculum that challenges children academically and safeguards their well-being and sense of self.
Kindergarten
Kindergarten
The Kindergarten year in a Primary classroom is the culmination of the Montessori Three Year Cycle. In this crucial year, the 5- and 6- year old children represent the oldest children in MMA’s Primary classrooms.
Primary
Primary
Primary offers a mixed-age classroom for children 2.5 years to 6 years old. This beautifully prepared classroom guides children through an individual learning experience tailored to their individual needs, wants, & interests.
Toddler
Toddler
Once a child enters our Toddler Community the curriculum begins to structure itself around interest areas with continued development of gross and fine motor skills. Self-discipline, impulse control, and concentration are nurtured as the child moves into an increased social awareness.
Nido
Nido
The Nido (Italian for “nest”) is our Montessori Infant Program. This class provides a safe and nurturing environment for infants, ages 2 months to 24 months, to develop independence and foster curiosity as they familiarize themselves with their new world.
Spanish Immersion
Spanish Immersion
This program offers children ages three and four a full day in Spanish, led by native Spanish speaking Montessori trained guides. The five year old children do the first half of the day in Spanish, and then go to the Kindergarten work cycle and specials in the afternoons in English.
